cgi.ebay.com this is an incredibly rare book that i’m putting up on ebay. it is a compilation of the bujinkan newsletters put out by soke hatsumi. the publishing company went out of business just after it was made so this book is impossible to get, i think i saw someone selling it for like 400 on amazon or ebay

well first of all you can’t say hatsumi because we have undeniable proof soke hatsumi received all the schools from takamatsu. and even if you’re referring to ogakure ryu you can’t use hatsumi’s name again because other epoeple have had togakure ryu passed to them from takamatsu. the question should have been i’m surprised you haven’t been skeptical about takamatsu. i’ve seen more than enough evidence to know the schools passed to soke hatsumi from takamatsu are at least edo period. so im good

Sorry, you mention this tetsuzan use to be called Sanmyaku. That’s incorrect. Original newsletters for Tetsuzan was released in conjunction with the other bujinkan newsletter known as Bujin both in 1989. Tetsuzan was consider omote thoughts and Bujin consider ira thoughts of the bujinkan. Sanmyaku started in 1994. Hope this information helped. FYI – in case if anyone was curious they never reprinted the Bujin newsletters. Bujin newsletters were published by Kevin Millis.

i know that there was a 96 edition from win publications but i think since this is from a different publisher it’s still considered a first edition, i’m not sure if there is different content though

  12. shugyou says:

I think this is not the first edition, the one I got is from 1996 with different cover from WIN publications.
    It’s a great book though!

How do you come across all these rare books?! The somewhat bibliophile side of me is interested. It seems interesting. How many pages is that book btw? And shinobi had their own specialized kodachi?
